This page explains how to delete a TYPE-02 account. TYPE-02 is made by Type Studio and shares its account system with the Type Studio app, so deleting the account removes it from both apps.
Delete it in the app
- Open TYPE-02 and sign in.
- Go to Settings, then Manage Account.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
The deletion runs right away.
Can't sign in?
Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and ask for the account to be deleted. The request is handled within the same week, usually sooner.
What gets deleted
- Your run records, so your run history is gone.
- Your credit balance, credit transactions and subscription record.
- Your profile, and your sign-in account in Supabase.
What stays, and for how long
- Stored song results that other users' runs also rely on. They describe a song and contain nothing that identifies you.
- Backend logs and error reports, which expire on Google Cloud's and Sentry's standard retention schedules.
- Your Liked list and other on-device data, which stay on your device until you delete the app.
Type Pro subscribers
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription that Apple or Google bills. Cancel Type Pro in your App Store or Google Play account settings first, or you'll keep being charged.
